Eden's Hour is a David Lynch Foundation affiliated radio show hosted by Erin Skipper. It used to be a weekly show programmed in West Seattle at Vivid Sound Studio.
It is currently not airing on a regular basis, but features occasional specials programmed in Los Angeles.
All shows air on KRUU FM -the voice of Fairfield, Iowa ...and beyond.
Here you'll find some of the highlights from almost every show and insights into some of my personal musical obsessions... of which I have many. However this blog is not a music review site nor do I use this blog to critique music. I simply share stuff that I find interesting, stuff that you are not likely to read about in too many other places. I receive music submissions on the David Lynch Foundation Myspace page so there is a lively and eclectic assortment of stuff from indie, punk, folk, rock, rap, hip-hop, electronica, metal, ambient, experimental and all sorts of stuff that I can't quite seem to categorize. But it's all good.
I post links to all of the artists that I play on the show in playlists and in the blog updates. If you like what you hear, please support the artists and buy their music.
In addition to this radio show, I am coordinating music related projects for the David Lynch Foundation, including benefit concerts and more exciting stuff to be announced soon. Donovan is the head of the musical wing of the DLF and we expect it to take off in full flight!
